Anna Silk is a Fredericton resident, and is the daughter of Peter Silk, who was an academic. Her mother, Ilkay Silk, had a diverse range of talents, including being able to direct, act and produce plays, as well as write them as well as teach and serve as director of drama at St. Thomas University. Anna Silk was the child of the British father and Turkish-born mother from England. At the beginning of her career, Anna appeared on several commercials for television. Anna was able to move to Toronto Ontario in order to pursue her acting. The decade which followed, she relocated in Los Angeles. Seth Cooperman met Anna at a Los Angeles actor's workshops in 2007. They were engaged. They married in a civil ceremony that was held in December, and then renew their vows during a Jewish celebration in Fredericton in April 2011, in the wake of Anna's conversion into Judaism. Bo and Lauren's relationship (played Zoie Palmer by Bo) is featured on CNN's all-time favorite television couple list.
